A walk from the Couvent up to Notre Dame de Capimont – a 12th century Romanesque chapel – offers lovely views over the valley and the town of Hérépian. After a short walk along roads you follow clearly marked footpaths.

Turn left out of the Couvent, keep the square on your left and continue up the ‘Grand Rue’. Turn left at the top and at the roundabout take a right turn into Avenue des 13 Vents.

Just after the railway line turn left onto the Avenue de l’Escandoune and after crossing a river continue along a footpath. Follow the clearly marked path (with yellow way markers) up to Notre Dame de Capimont.
